Hiekman County Schools Exhibit A Scope of Work The scope of work and pricing for services for this contracted agency is detailed within the attached work plan. Hickman County Schools will educate, empower, and support students in Hickman County to make healthy decisions and avoid substance misuse by implementing a substance use prevention project called Prevention Now. This will include "Move 2 Stand" training and program through Stars Nashville serving students and teachers in both middle and high schools. A student athlete ambassador program will also take place where students will host prevention campaigns. Included within this project are activities for kindergarten through third grade. The third graders specifically will have a drug free pledge initiative. This project meets the spending requirements of the opioid litigation by addressing the primary strategy of primary prevention. Specifically within the approved uses (Exhibit E of the original opioid settlements), this project addresses the following: B2 Provide education to school-based and youth-focused programs that discourage or prevent misuse. G1 Funding for media campaigns to prevent opioid use (similar to the FDA's "Real Cost" campaign to prevent youth from misusing tobacco) G2 Funding for evidence-based prevention programs in schools
