Commitment Agreement
By signing below, I agree to fully participate in the FCCLA State Leadership Conference. I understand
that my attendance, effort, and preparation are required as a representative of East Hickman High School
FCCLA.
Registration & Financial Responsibility
EHHS FCCLA covers the conference registration cost only for students who are actively competing in a
STAR Event. Students receiving chapter funding must demonstrate full commitment to their project,
including completing all required components and attending scheduled practices.
If a student does not complete their project or does not practice for their STAR Event, they will not be
permitted to attend the conference, even if initially registered.
Once the conference registration deadline has passed, the chapter pays for the student's registration. At
that point:
If I choose to withdraw after the deadline for any reason other than a documented emergency, I
am responsible for paying the $130 registration fee.
If this fee is not paid and I do NOT attend the conference, a hold will be placed on my diploma.
Participation & Conduct
I agree to the following expectations:
I will make time to practice, prepare, and complete my STAR Event.
I will attend all assigned meetings, workshops, and scheduled events.
Failure to attend required meetings will result in ISS upon return to school.
I will follow the FCCLA dress code for the entire trip.
Failure to follow dress code will result in ISS upon return.
I will use appropriate language and behavior throughout the conference.
I will follow rooming expectations:
Every student must sleep in their assigned bed.
If anyone is not in a bed or prevents another student from having a bed, the entire room
will call their parents and be sent home.
Unkind, intimidating, or "jokingly" hurtful behavior will not be tolerated.

East Hickman High School FCCLA Conference Commitment Contract
This contract is entered into by and between
, a student at East
Hickman High School, and the East Hickman High School FCCLA Chapter for the purpose of
attending the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Chattanooga, April 9-11, 2026, and
fulfilling all associated responsibilities.
1. Participation & Conduct- I agree to the following expectations:
Serve as a voting delegate and represent EHHS with integrity.
Attend all assigned meetings, workshops, and events. Missing required meetings results in ISS
upon return.
Follow the FCCLA dress code for the entire trip. Dress code violations result in ISS.
Use appropriate language and behavior at all times.
Follow rooming expectations:
Every student must sleep in their assigned bed.
If anyone prevents another student from having a bed or refuses to sleep in theirs,
the entire room will call parents and be sent home.
Unkind, intimidating, or "jokingly" hurtful behavior is not permitted.
2. Commitment to STAR Events The student agrees that they will actively engage in preparing
and competing in at least one FCCLA STAR Event during their time at East Hickman High
School. This will include meeting deadlines, attending meetings or practices, and
demonstrating leadership, skills, and teamwork.
3. Expectations for Representation As a representative of East Hickman High School, the
student is expected to:
Uphold the values and goals of FCCLA in a positive manner.
Conduct themselves with integrity and professionalism during the entire conference.
Follow all rules and guidelines set by FCCLA and East Hickman High School.
4. Acknowledgment By signing this contract, the student agrees to the terms outlined above
and understands the responsibilities they are undertaking. The student also understands the
importance of representing East Hickman High School in a responsible and respectful manner.
I also understand that if I back out after the registration deadline, I agree to pay for the
conference registration of $130. A hold will be put on my diploma if this is not paid and I do
NOT attend state conference.
