guess it's been four weeks or so the the Hickman County Economic Development board called a meeting and it was really kind of a 34:5134 minutes, 51 secondswho's who that can deal with Transportation issues in our County we had um the county mayor was there the 34:5834 minutes, 58 secondscity mayor was there we had T do was on hand the highway patrol was there Sheriff's Office was there cville PD was there Mr Mullen was there the economic 35:0735 minutes, 7 secondsboard was representative of the economic board was there some of our board members were there and we brainstormed how to solve this traffic problem so 35:1635 minutes, 16 secondsthat our Festival can continue to grow and be a great event for our County and the consensus view out of that meeting 35:2535 minutes, 25 secondswas that the way to do it is to do offsite shuttling so we'd have a parking lot or maybe even more than 35:3235 minutes, 32 secondsone somewhere near the event but far enough out that we can use vehicles to transport big groups of people in and 35:4035 minutes, 40 secondsand alleviate the traffic problem that way so like T dot said hey we'll get you a whole bunch of signs we'll do a good job ring traffic impression of our County and that's a good long-term thing for Hitman County Schools the 38:0738 minutes, 7 secondssecond thing is tax revenue I've heard that some of our restaurants and our gas wrote a check for several 00 to the Beta Club at hitou high and we wrote a check for several thousand 38:4138 minutes, 41 secondsdollars to miss beam's class over at East The Culinary department they worked hard they moved a lot of pudding that weekend it was fun to be able to write 38:4938 minutes, 49 secondsthem that check and support their program and then the the fourth reason that this is good for Hitman County Schools is that 38:5738 minutes, 57 secondswe had about 50 students from East and from Hitman High put in volunteer hours about 250 volunteer hours over that 39:0639 minutes, 6 secondsweekend and a lot of them got counted toward te and promise for that but even the ones that didn't do te and promise that's your students volunteering 39:1439 minutes, 14 secondsintegrating with the community and that's a good thing for the schools as well so that's my pitch I uh I don't I'm 39:2239 minutes, 22 secondsnot sure where this goes from here but I wanted to share that with you
