**TO NAME STATE BRIDGE IN MEMORY OF SAMMY JOE DURHAM**

Floor sponsors Devin Pickard and Ricky Murray described the measure as naming the state bridge over **Beaver Dam on Highway 100** in memory of **Sammy Joe Durham**, a World War II veteran raised about a half mile from the bridge. The county highway committee had voted unanimously to recommend the naming. Family members were recognized in the chamber.
