RESOLUTION FOR HICKMAN COUNTY AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA) FUND ALLOCATION TOWARD ROAD PAVING

The signed packet copy and its three attachments are not in the May 22 minutes OCR. Sponsors asked the body to replace the packet version with a handout that added a third attachment.

Floor discussion established:

• Amount: up to $1,680,861 of ARPA funds for paving
• Roads discussed: East End roads and Lower Piney River Road, including the heavily used ballpark approach
• Sponsors said utility managers had been consulted about water lines toward Pinewood and that digging should not undermine the paving
• A commissioner asked about speed bumps near the ballpark; the chair said legality on a public road was uncertain and asked the sheriff to increase enforcement, including coordination with THP
