- Health Foundation · Meeting · Feb 23, 2026 The Health Foundation’s Feb. 23 meeting was brief and focused mostly on routine approvals. Its main action was unanimous final approval on second reading of a $704,804 funding request for county ambulance service. The board also approved the prior meeting minutes and unanimously accepted a financial report showing $230,297.92 in cash on hand and no checks written during the previous month. There were no public comments, no new business was introduced, and the meeting adjourned immediately after the ambulance funding vote.
- Health Foundation · Meeting · Feb 9, 2026 The Health Foundation approved Hickman County EMS’s request for $76,418.84 to replace automated CPR devices on its ambulances. EMS said the current 2015 units are at the end of their roughly 10-year life cycle, are becoming obsolete, and have already failed during patient care, while the replacements would provide more consistent CPR during transport and allow attendants to remain seated and buckled while focusing on airway management. Before the vote, the board clarified it was approving the full $76,418.84 rather than the alternative rounded $75,000 amount, and the request passed unanimously 4-0. The board also unanimously approved the financial report, which showed a bank balance of $230,608.50 at the end of December and $230,297.92 in January after a payment to Curascript Medical for previously approved CPR mannequins and AEDs for EMA. No public comments were offered, and no old business was taken up.
