WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the Legislative Body of Hickman County to promote the upkeep of the county's roads and bridges on behalf of its citizens; and

WHEREAS, Hickman County enjoys a fruitful and productive working relationship with the Tennessee Department of Transportation; and

WHEREAS, the Tennessee Department of Transportation is seeking permission to conduct a pipe replacement on SR-100 at LM 18.57;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Hickman County, Tennessee, meeting in regular session this 28th day of May, 2024, that the Hickman County Mayor be authorized to sign a Proposal ("Attachment A") with the Tennessee Department of Transportation for the road improvement projects numbered 41S100-M1-002, 41S100-MW-002, 41S100-M3-002.
